Eu Directive 2012/27/EU was introduced into the Hungarian legal order in May 2015. The law basically offers two solutions for fulfilling the energy audit obligation:

• o Operation of an ISO 50001 certified energy management system certified by an accredited certification body (in which case the large company is obliged to send the Office a valid certificate every four years).
